Requirements
- The ability to provide various shipping and receiving duties in a busy, potentially stressful environment
- Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products, with hands-on experience in minor repairs and service/maintenance requirements for various types of construction equipment
- Excellent paperwork and organizational skills, with an affinity for process management
- Ability to work independently when required
- Willingness to adapt to possible overtime hours
- Good communication and people skills
- Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the shipping and receiving operations of the branch
- Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and submitted
- Be responsible for yard, shop, & warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Assist customers picking up and returning product
- Load and unload suppliers
- Assist with fleet drivers and outside carriers
- Perform other duties as assigned
