About The Position

The Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is a highly anticipated newly built hotel set to redefine meetings, events, and luxury hospitality in the heart of the city. Featuring 800 guest rooms and 100,000 square feet of onsite meeting space, the hotel will serve as a premier destination for large-scale conventions, corporate meetings, and social events. As we continue to grow our pre-opening team, we are seeking a Uniform Room Supervisor to join our amazing team! This role involves supervising daily uniform operations and spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day Uniform team operations: Lead, train, and oversee Uniform team members to maintain a consistent supply of clean linens and uniforms
• Manage uniform distribution: Oversee ordering, distribution, and inventory of team member uniforms
• Oversee linen processing: Assign, supervise, and assist with tasks such as collecting, sorting, weighing, loading, unloading, ironing, folding, and storing linens while ensuring proper equipment maintenance
• Monitor quality and efficiency: Track linen quality, inventory levels, stain and damage rates, and production reports, ensuring timely rewashing, repairs, and reordering as needed
• Optimize productivity: Assign machinery, equipment, and work areas while maintaining productivity records, including hourly production metrics
