About The Position

The Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is a newly built hotel set to redefine meetings, events, and luxury hospitality. It features 800 guest rooms and 100,000 square feet of onsite meeting space, serving as a premier destination for large-scale conventions, corporate meetings, and social events. As part of the pre-opening team, the Seamstress will join the amazing team to spread the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations, repairs, and adjustments to team member uniforms, hotel linens, and guest clothing to ensure proper fit and quality.
• Keep sewing machines in good working condition and promptly report any defects to the Linen Room Supervisor.
• Keep the uniform and linen room clean, orderly, and well-stocked.
• Identify and report uniforms or linens that need to be discarded or replaced.
