•$120,000 - $155,000

About The Position

inKind is seeking an Underwriting & Funding Manager to evaluate restaurant funding opportunities and make disciplined, timely funding decisions. The role owns reviews from initial diligence through final recommendation or approval, helping inKind fund strong restaurant partners while managing risk. It calls for financial judgment, attention to detail, understanding the business behind the numbers, comfort making decisions with incomplete information, and the ability to ask thoughtful questions and explain conclusions clearly. The manager reviews and underwrites restaurant businesses, determines appropriate funding terms, and approves or declines requests within delegated authority. The role also leads diligence, documents decisions, coordinates funding readiness, and improves underwriting standards and workflows. The manager works with internal teams and restaurant owners, and partners with teams monitoring funded restaurants to compare actual performance with underwriting assumptions. Success means delivering timely, well-supported funding decisions, identifying material risks before funding, maintaining clear approval records, and helping inKind grow a healthy portfolio of restaurant partners. The position offers a base salary of $120,000–$155,000 plus benefits.
