Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years related experience required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
- Detail oriented; strong analytical skills and good communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Review individual insurance applications for property and casualty coverage.
- Assess risks by evaluating property value, location, usage, safety features, and other key details.
- Decide whether to accept, modify, or decline risks based on established guidelines.
- Collaborate with field teams to gather information and defend underwriting decisions.
- Support senior underwriters in managing accounts and servicing clients.
