About The Position

The Underwriter II analyzes financial data and other credit information to determine loan terms and pricing. The role approves quote requests within the employee’s authority and recommends approval for loans above that authority. It also serves as a source of financial and industry knowledge for other employees and works directly with clients to develop customized financing solutions for complex policies and competitive situations. The position may involve customer visits, attendance at relevant industry conferences, and participation in assigned department responsibilities.

Requirements

At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Insurance industry experience.
Knowledge of the MS Office suite.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Ability to read and interpret financial statements.
Creative and open-minded problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities
