About The Position

Nevada Gold Mines is hiring an Underground Front Line Supervisor for its Goldrush operations. The role is part of the Underground Operations team and calls for proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining. The supervisor helps maintain safe, healthy, and efficient underground operations while supporting employees and coordination across teams. The position requires working a rotating schedule of nights and days.

Requirements

• At least six years of underground mine-related experience.
• At least three years of supervisory experience.
• Proven knowledge of underground hard rock mining.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to supervise and direct underground supervision.
• Excellent safety and performance record.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in an environment involving planning or scheduling maintenance work.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign personnel according to job requirements.
• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment performs as desired.
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure compliance with mine plans.
• Develop and train employees to standards for safe and efficient equipment operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
