Requirements

Valid California Guard Card.
Power to Arrest certificate.
Appropriate Use of Force certificate.
Remaining 32 hours of training.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing.
Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
Must pass a comprehensive background check, including criminal record, driving record, and drug testing.

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent customer service while following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using problem-solving skills.
Patrol the site on foot to identify potential dangers or criminal activity.
Observe client premises, monitor the perimeter, and report suspicious activity to supervisors or law enforcement as necessary.
Maintain accurate reports documenting observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Issue verbal warnings, make arrests when applicable, and/or contact law enforcement regarding security violations or criminal activities.
Adapt to various working environments and conditions.
Perform other duties as assigned.
