About The Position

Doyle Security Services (DSS) is seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment at a pharmaceutical facility in Suffolk County, NY. This role requires a high level of vigilance, integrity, and customer service while performing duties at a standing post for extended periods.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED required.
5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
Valid NYS Security Guard License.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Valid driver license.
Ability to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
Physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.

Responsibilities

Monitoring and reporting activities and incidents at the assigned client site to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property.
Conducting regular foot patrols and completing scans.
Maintaining order and enforcing site-specific regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the premises.
Securing premises, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
Performing tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
