About The Position
Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Suffolk County, NY. Locations & Shifts: Brookhaven: Thursday 0700-1500, Friday 0700-1900, Saturday 0700-1500, Sunday 0700-1500 Payrate: $19.00/hr. Brookhaven: Saturday, Sunday, Monday 0700-1500, Tuesday, Wednesday 1500-2300 Payrate: $19.00/hr. Brookhaven: Monday - Friday 2300-0700 (Overnight) Payrate: 19.00/hr. Brookhaven: Thursday - Saturday 0700-1900 Payrate: $19.00/hr. Brookhaven: Sunday-Tuesday 0700-1900 Payrate: $19.00/hr. UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Responsible for monitoring and reporting activities and incidents at the assigned client site to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property. Conducts regular foot patrols and completes scans. Maintains order and enforces site-specific regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the premises. This position requires the ability to stand for long period. Securing premise inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED required
- 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
- Valid NYS Security Guard License
- Must have a valid driver license
- Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
- Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
