Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Requirements

Valid Florida "D" License
Valid driver’s license from state of residence
Must be at least 18 years old
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Weekend availability
Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
State Issued Driver's License (Not Expired)

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
3+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience

Responsibilities

Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns
Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials
Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol
Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents
Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)
Assist visitors and employees professionally
Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols
Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
