About The Position

Blueline Security Services LLC is hiring experienced, professional, customer-focused Unarmed Security Officers for a church security assignment beginning December 1, 2026. This is an active, highly visible, customer-facing role—not a sit-down security position. Officers will interact with church members, visitors, staff, and guests in a fast-paced environment where professionalism, communication, good judgment, and calm responses under pressure are essential. Officers will help maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment through access control, crowd control, observation and reporting, and incident response. The position pays $20.50 per hour. All three shifts are available, and officers must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and busy services or events. The role requires extended periods of standing and walking.

Requirements

At least one year of security experience.
Valid Maryland Security Guard License.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays and flexibility to work all three shifts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and interact directly with the public.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure and use good judgment in stressful situations.
Ability to follow post orders and supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits, control access to the property, and help prevent unauthorized access.
Assist with crowd management and orderly movement during services and events.
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, disturbances, and security incidents.
Maintain a highly visible, professional security presence and constant awareness of surroundings.
Respond appropriately to incidents and changing situations.
Communicate with church staff, visitors, members, and Blueline supervisors.
Help maintain a safe environment during busy services, events, and high-traffic periods.
Complete required reports and documentation.
Follow Blueline Security Services policies, procedures, and site post orders.
Provide professional customer service while performing security duties.
