About The Position

Blueline Security Services LLC is hiring experienced, professional, customer-focused Unarmed Security Officers for a church security assignment beginning December 1, 2026. This is an active, highly visible, customer-facing role—not a sit-down security position. Officers interact with church members, visitors, staff, and guests in a fast-paced environment, where professionalism, communication, good judgment, and calmness under pressure are important. Officers help maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly environment during church services and events. The position pays $20.50 per hour. All three shifts are available, and officers must be flexible to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and busy or high-traffic periods.

Requirements

At least one year of security experience.
Valid Maryland Security Guard License.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Flexibility to work all three shifts.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and directly with the public.
Professional, dependable, and punctual demeanor.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to remain calm and make good decisions under pressure.
Ability to follow post orders and supervisor instructions.
Clean-cut, professional appearance.

Responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits and control access to the property.
Assist with crowd control and orderly movement during services and events.
Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, disturbances, and security incidents.
Maintain a highly visible and professional security presence.
Monitor people entering and exiting the facility and help prevent unauthorized access.
Respond appropriately to incidents and changing situations.
Communicate with church staff, visitors, members, and Blueline supervisors.
Help maintain a safe environment during busy services and events.
Complete required reports and documentation.
Follow Blueline Security Services policies, procedures, and site post orders.
Maintain constant awareness of surroundings.
Provide professional customer service while performing security duties.
