About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring Security Officers in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, their employees, and the public through professional, attentive service and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Available shifts are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The pay rate is $19.24 per hour. DSI Security Services provides contract security solutions nationwide and emphasizes accountability, professionalism, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation and a means of communication.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, perform moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
Meet all pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Complete required reports and documentation accurately and on time.
Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.
