About The Position
Absolute International Security is seeking a highly professional security guard to maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, visitors, and property. The role calls for a customer-service-focused demeanor, a neat and tidy appearance, and the ability to conduct regular patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide a visible security presence. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Pass a background check, drug screening, and additional client requirements.
- Have strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to write clear and accurate reports.
- Be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
- Be comfortable working outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be dependable and committed to ethical conduct and integrity.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and comply with company grooming and uniform standards.
- Hold a valid California Guard Card.
- Hold a valid government ID.
- Hold CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Security Guard Training Certificates.
- De-escalation and conflict management skills.
Responsibilities
- Act as a visible deterrent to rule violations, unsafe behavior, and criminal activity.
- Conduct thorough routine patrols of the assigned area, including a public social services facility and surrounding parking lot.
- Monitor the entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
- Control access points and maintain visitor and vendor logs.
- Observe and report suspicious activities, safety hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively by radio, phone, or in person with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, emergencies, and disturbances.
- Assist with evacuations and emergency procedures as required.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
- Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
- Maintain authorized less-than-lethal equipment in compliance with company standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment.
- Follow post orders, site protocols, and relevant company procedures.
