About The Position

We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond to incidents effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security management is preferred.
Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, or military service is highly desirable.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
Familiarity with loss prevention techniques.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.
Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.
Unarmed Security License (Required)

Nice To Haves

Additional training or certification in security management is preferred.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor the safety of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing conflict management when necessary.
Respond promptly to emergency situations
Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities observed during shifts.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed in case of emergencies or investigations.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals on-site.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches.
