About The Position

Performs ultrasonic examinations for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician. Uses independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative when applying ultrasound techniques for radiologic diagnosis. Ensures the safety and comfort of patients undergoing ultrasound procedures and confirms that procedures are appropriately ordered and patient identification is obtained before conducting them. Follows departmental protocols and performs other related duties as required. Supervises students during clinical rotations.

Requirements

• Must be ARRT and/or RDMS registered or registry eligible.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiation Sciences or Ultrasound Technology is preferred.
• Two years of experience performing ultrasound procedures is preferred.
