About The Position
Under the supervision of the Diagnostic Supervisor, Manager, or Director, the Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illness and disease. This position is with Covenant Hobbs Hospital and supports Providence’s patient-focused, whole-person care culture, built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect. The role is PRN/on-call with variable shifts.
Requirements
- Course study in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent education/experience.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- New Mexico Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program License upon hire, if practicing in New Mexico.
- One year of experience as an Ultrasonographer.
