About The Position

Provides patient transport to and from and/or between nursing units and ancillary departments. Supports clinical staff by maintaining linens, ensuring wheelchair access, and performing light housekeeping duties.

Requirements

• Heart Saver CPR certification is required within six months of hire.
• Ability to communicate in English with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Ability to use effective interpersonal relation skills when working with a variety of people and situations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to continuing changes in the daily work schedule.
• Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to work with clinical personnel and other team members to foster a productive work environment.
• Ability to display a positive attitude, cheerfulness, and willingness to assist when communicating with the public.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Healthcare Provider BCLS preferred.
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
