About The Position

Comprehensive Woman's Care, a practice partner of Together Women’s Health (TWH), is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technician, with the opportunity to add more days in 2027. The technician acquires ultrasound images used in medical diagnoses and performs sonography in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and the organization’s policies, values, and mission. The role requires a team-oriented approach to patient care and documentation. Together Women’s Health is a growing network of Obstetrics and Gynecology practices whose mission is to improve the lives of healthcare partners and their patients. Requirements

Graduate of a certified ultrasound program.
MFM trained.
ARDMS certified and in good standing.
Extensive experience in OB/GYN.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with patients in a professional and caring manner.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Greet patients courteously and ensure their needs are met.
Review patient identification and verify physician orders.
Help patients cooperate by reducing anxieties, explaining imaging procedures and equipment, and answering questions.
Review images, make initial observations, document exceptions from established protocols, and communicate data to the physician.
Maximize ultrasound production and quality by following established standards and procedures.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
Document ultrasound services by completing patient record charting.
Participate in radiology practice process-improvement activities, including quality of care, patient flow, reject-repeat analysis, and patient satisfaction.
Perform other duties as assigned.
