About The Position

The Ultrasound Tech performs ultrasonography procedures for emergency patients, inpatients, and outpatients. The role also performs ultrasound examinations in the operating room and at the bedside. The technologist provides verbal consultation about examination findings to Emergency Room physicians and the Radiologist. This position requires rotating weekend and holiday coverage, as well as being on call.

Requirements

• Associate in Applied Science degree or diploma from an accredited Sonography or Radiology program.
• ARDMS or ARRT(S) registration, or registry eligibility.
• If registry eligible, become registered within 24 months of hire.
• BLS certification.

• Work a rotation of weekends and holidays and be on call.
