About The Position

Premier Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice, is hiring an Ultrasound Tech to support outpatient imaging in the Greater Nashville, Tennessee area. The role performs high-quality ultrasound exams using appropriate techniques and equipment settings, applying independent judgment to capture accurate diagnostic images. It also supports patient care and safety, assists radiologists with image-guided procedures, manages workflow and documentation, and contributes to quality control and compliance.

Requirements

• Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) recognized by the American Heart Association.
• Current ARDMS registry, or registry eligibility with a requirement to obtain registry within one year of employment in the technologist position.
• ARDMS registration in AB, OB/GYN, and RVT; practice- and state-specific.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound exams using proper techniques, equipment settings, and independent judgment to capture accurate diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient care and safety through preparation, positioning, communication, and adherence to universal precautions.
• Support radiologists with image-guided procedures, including paracentesis, thoracentesis, and hysterosonograms.
• Manage workflow and documentation, including RIS/PACS, scheduling coordination, patient communication, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Maintain quality control and compliance, including equipment quality assurance and ACR standards.
• Pursue ongoing professional development.
