About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic medical ultrasound exams and related procedures. The position is based at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana, in the Southern Indiana/Louisville area, and involves all shifts and weekends. Requirements
- Completion of a two-year recognized AMA or AMA-equivalent Allied Health training program that is patient-related, as described by ARDMS guidelines.
- Current ARDMS certification in Ultrasound, or registry eligibility, and/or ARRT Breast Sonography registration. Registry-eligible employees must obtain registry within one year of hire.
- At least 12 months of full-time clinical ultrasound experience as described by ARDMS guidelines, or satisfaction of the ARDMS registry prerequisite requirements and/or ARRT registry prerequisite.
- BLS certification from an approved BLS course is required; training will be provided.
