About The Position

This position is for a Radiology / Cardiology Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine. The role involves providing care to high-risk OB/GYN patients in an outpatient clinic setting. The technologist will utilize GE Voluson Ultrasound Machines (E10, Expert 22) and ViewPoint Reporting for charting within the EPIC system. Responsibilities include performing Detailed Anatomic ultrasound exams, Umbilical Artery and Middle Cerebral Artery Dopplers, Multiple Gestation, and Transvaginal Cervical length measurements within a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in high-risk OB ultrasound.
  • Experience performing Detailed Anatomic ultrasound exams.
  • Experience with Umbilical Artery and Middle Cerebral Artery Dopplers.
  • Experience with Multiple Gestation ultrasound exams.
  • Experience with Transvaginal Cervical length measurements.
  • Experience within a Maternal-Fetal Medicine Department.
  • Proficiency with GE ultrasound machines.
  • Proficiency with PACS.
  • Proficiency with Abdomen and Abdominal Circumference measurements.
  • Proficiency with Bone lengths, Cerebellum, Ventricles, Diaphragm, Duodenal Atresia/Intussusception, Fingers/Toes, Gender, Head, and Heart measurements.
  • Experience with 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, and 3rd trimester ultrasounds.
  • Experience with Amniotic fluid index, Fetal Anatomical Survey, Inter/Intra-Orbital Measurements.
  • Experience with Placenta Previa, Umbilical Cord Doppler.
  • Experience with Bladder, Ovaries, Transvaginal, and Uterus ultrasounds.
  • Experience with Vaginal ultrasounds.
  • Experience with Cold Flow, Doppler Studies, M-Mode.
  • BLS certification.
  • ARDMS certification.
  • ARDMS OB/GYN certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Detailed Anatomic ultrasound exams on high-risk OB/GYN patients.

  • Perform ultrasound exams for Multiple Gestation.
  • Perform Transvaginal Cervical length measurements.
  • Utilize GE Voluson Ultrasound Machines (E10, Expert 22).
  • Document findings using ViewPoint Reporting and EPIC charting system.
  • Adhere to Isolation Precautions/PPE guidelines.
  • Float between like departments, units, and facilities as needed.
