About The Position

This position is for a Radiology / Cardiology - Ultrasound Tech specializing in Maternal Fetal care. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, with a preference for travelers with clinic experience. Locals are accepted with a potential rate difference. The work setting requires expertise in High Risk OB & Outpatient procedures. The technician will be expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team, potentially reporting to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur, with preassignment to units as needed. The primary patient population will be OB/GYN patients, performing level 1 OB scans and GYN scans. The candidate must be a registered diagnostic medical sonographer.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Clinic traveler experience.
• High Risk OB & Outpatient skills.
• GE General Ultrasound skills: Abdominal Aorta, Appendix, Breast, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Pediatric Abdomen/Pelvis & Spleen.
• OB/GYN Skills: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Trimester, Amniotic fluid index, Fetal Anatomical Survey & Placenta Previa.
• Neonatal Skills: Bone lengths, Cerebellum, Ventricles, Head & Heart.
• Renal/Pelvis Skills: Bladder, Hernia, Ovaries, Prostate, Renal/Bladder, Uterus & Vaginal.
• Small Parts Skills: Breast Cyst Aspiration, Breast Ultrasound, Superficial Masses, Testicles/Scrotum & Thyroid.
• ARDMS certification.
• ARDMS OB/GYN certification.
• BLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• OB/GYN Skills: Nuchal Translucency Screen.
• ARDMS FE certification.
• NT certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform Abdominal Aorta, Appendix, Breast, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, Pediatric Abdomen/Pelvis & Spleen ultrasounds.
• Conduct 1st, 2nd & 3rd Trimester, Amniotic fluid index, Fetal Anatomical Survey & Placenta Previa ultrasounds.
• Perform Neonatal ultrasounds including Bone lengths, Cerebellum, Ventricles, Head & Heart.
• Conduct Renal/Pelvis ultrasounds including Bladder, Hernia, Ovaries, Prostate, Renal/Bladder, Uterus & Vaginal.
• Perform Small Parts ultrasounds including Breast Cyst Aspiration, Breast Ultrasound, Superficial Masses, Testicles/Scrotum & Thyroid.
• Perform OB/GYN scans and GYN scans.
• Float to other units as needed.
