Requirements

Completion of accredited program in ultrasound.
ARDMS (AB or OB/GYN or RVT) or ARRT (S) required at time of hire.
If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at time of hire, registry required within twelve months of hire with the first attempt to pass the OB/GYN registry within six months of hire.
If not ARDMS (RVT) registered at time of hire, registry required within 12 months of hire.
If not ARDMS (BR) registered at time of hire, registry required within 12 months of hire.
If not ARDMS (RVT) registered at time of hire, registry required within 24 months of hire.
American Heart Association CPR required.
Constant (67-100% of workday) use of arms and hands.
Frequent (34-66% of workday) standing, walking, sitting.
Occasional (0-33% of workday) bending and squatting.
Ability to lift 35 lbs.
Ability to push and pull up to 20 lbs.
Auditory and visual skills to include color determination.
Possesses critical thinking and analytical skills.
Ability to multi-task.

Capacity to cope with difficult situations.

For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in the MRI environment (Zones 3 & 4) at all times.
