About The Position

The Ultrasonographer performs ultrasound procedures and participates in clinical and clerical activities. The role requires adherence to departmental production standards and compliance with life, fire, hazardous waste, radiation safety, and infection control requirements. The employee maintains licensure and participates in continuing education units (CEUs).

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Vocational or technical school education.
• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Program.
• American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification.
• Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) certification, to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Initiative and ability to set and achieve high standards of performance.
• Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, orally and in writing.
• Ability to learn specific job duties and complete detailed work assignments.
