About The Position

Under the direction of the site designate leader and according to established policies and procedures, this role performs accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation. The role adheres to Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent
• Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent
• Minimal experience as gained at student level
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire
• CRT-Sonographer (S) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDE Cardiac 1 Year
• CRT-Breast Sonographer (BS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac, General, Vascular 1 Year
• CRT-Abdomen (AB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac EXCLUDES Vascular 1 Year
• Or CRT-Ob/Gyn (OB) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography EXCLUDES Cardiac EXCLUDES Vascular 1 Year
• Or CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RDCS) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Cardiac 1 Year
• Or CRT-Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RCS) - Cardiac 1 Year
• CRT-Vascular Technologist (VT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Within 1 year of hire required for Vascular Department
