About The Position

This is a casual, PRN position for days, primarily for the Farmington Hills location, but the role will be asked to float to West Bloomfield, Royal Oak, Troy, and Grosse Pointe. The Ultrasonographer will work under the site designate leader and according to established policies and procedures, performing accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams. They will utilize appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative, demonstrating good clinical skills to provide the best possible images for interpretation. The role adheres to Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Requirements

• Graduate of Diagnostic Ultrasound Program or equivalent. Minimal as gained at student level.
• Registered by American Registry Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Registry eligible, paid at the trainee rate for up to 1 year.
• If unregistered must obtain at least one (ABD or OB/GYN) within 1 year from hire.
• Additional registry within two years from date of hire.
• If registered at hire, additional registry must be obtained within 1 year from hire.
• CRT-Vascular Tech-ARDMS-within 1 year from hire for Vascular Department.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers at hire through the American Heart Association.

• Additional registry within two years from date of hire.
• If registered at hire additional registry must be obtained within 1 year from hire.

• Perform accurate and efficient Ultrasound exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
• Demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation.

• Float to various locations including West Bloomfield, Royal Oak, Troy, and Grosse Pointe as needed.
