About The Position

The UKG Workforce Specialist will support the design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the UKG (formerly Kronos) Workforce Management (WFM) system. This role requires hands-on experience with UKG Dimensions or Workforce Central, a strong understanding of timekeeping, scheduling, and accruals, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system configurations. The specialist will collaborate with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical system specifications, and perform troubleshooting to resolve technical issues. They will also be responsible for system testing, maintaining configurations, generating reports, providing technical support, participating in system upgrades, and developing training materials.

Requirements

  • Proven experience configuring and supporting UKG Kronos (Dimensions and Workforce Central).
  • Deep knowledge of Dimensions and WFC business processes such as timekeeping, scheduling, leave management, and labor compliance.
  • Experience with creating and maintaining pay rules, work rules, and scheduling patterns.
  • Familiarity with SQL and data interfaces/integrations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree (Information Systems, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)).
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with UKG Dimensions and WFC configuration and support.

Nice To Haves

  • UKG Certification (Timekeeper, Advanced Scheduler, or Dimensions).
  • Experience integrating Kronos with HRIS or payroll systems (e.g., Workday).
  • Project management experience or involvement in Dimensions system implementations.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain UKG Dimensions modules such as Timekeeping, Scheduling, Accruals, Leave, and Attendance.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Operations, and IT teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical system specifications and configurations.
  • Perform troubleshooting to resolve technical issues within the Dimensions system, performing root cause analysis.
  • Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and validation of changes and upgrades.
  • Maintain and create pay rules, work rules, schedule templates, shift differentials, attendance policies and other configurations.
  • Create and generate reports from Dimensions data to provide insights into data analytics.
  • Provide technical support to end-users and act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Dimensions Time & Attendance functionalities.
  • Participate in system upgrades, new module implementations, and integrations with payroll and HRIS systems.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation on configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop training materials and provide training to end-users on Dimensions functionalities and best practices.
