About The Position

This position is a senior level analyst responsible for acquiring in-depth knowledge of the UKG Pro WFM application, its software, architecture, and interdependencies within the Mount Sinai landscape. The role involves working independently on project tasks and leading task execution for application implementation and support, including system components, testing, and documentation of workflows. The analyst will independently interact with clients, guide decision-making, demonstrate critical thinking, and develop solutions for identified issues. This position is responsible for framework processes and methodologies, planning, coordinating, and monitoring scope, requirements, schedules, budgets, resources, tasks, risks, staff, and deliverables. The individual will monitor projects from initiation to completion, organizing and leading project management activities. This position consults with business partners to define requirements and develop solutions, demonstrating high-level analytical and operational thinking to translate requirements into specific systems, applications, or process designs for IT solutions and integrating architecture. Accountable for root cause analysis, troubleshooting, configuration changes, unit testing, and leading UAT testing sessions with business areas, supporting all technology solutions related to TimeKeep systems and business application functions. The role ensures systems function well and supports end-users. The individual will create documents for new processes, test results, and follow proper testing cycles, including test assurance. Must be able to work with data views and reports to produce and analyze data. Availability for weekend calls and rotational Monday payroll support (once every six weeks) is required. The role partners across departments like Labor, HR, Finance, and Payroll to elicit requirements, define problems with statistical impact quickly, build credibility through follow-through, and be comfortable with multi-tasking and thinking on their feet.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
  • Eight years of related experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of associated technology areas that could impact area of responsibility.
  • Areas of expertise in applications, system analysis, application program development.
  • 5+ years of experience in UKG Pro WFM.
  • 5 + years of healthcare advanced scheduling.
  • 5+ years of working with ERP data.
  • Provide technical expertise to conduct specific performance or functional tests associated with resolving issues.

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Healthcare technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing cutting-edge uses of our IT systems that assist operational stakeholders in meeting their strategic objectives.
  • Participates and/or leads the review and design concepts for new systems and develops and documents the technical design for the integration and implementation.
  • Coordinates the development of comprehensive and strategic business cases with cost, service and benefit dimensions of proposed projects that are used at management and executive levels for funding and scope decisions.
  • Plans, coordinates and conducts the analysis of requirements; translate business needs into actionable documentation/specifications, including product roadmaps, risk mitigation plans, and use-case analyses.
  • Research and evaluate alternative solutions in pursuit of systems design solutions balancing performance efficiency with cost effectiveness.
  • Participates in the leadership of cross-functional and/or cross-divisional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and system specifications.
  • Develops the analysis and definition of efficient, cost effective solutions that support business processes, functional requirements and resource costs, including evaluation of existing applications and alternative uses of technology.
  • Advises on the consequences of actions; communicates risks and ensures understanding of these risks.
  • Jointly develops risk assessment of plan with client, and provides ongoing communication.
  • Consults on the identification and definition of solution alternatives within the framework provided by Enterprise Architecture.
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of the system and provide guidance to other staff in analyzing issues and the development of potential solutions.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex multi system issues.
  • Demonstrate ability to organize work for other team members to achieve success.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or requested.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $109,000.00 - $163,695.00 Annually.
  • Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need.
  • The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
