About The Position

The Applications Analyst III supervises and provides technical guidance to the staff in the development of specifications for new or revised systems. This role has full technical knowledge of applications analysis and supervisory duties, including instructing, assigning, directing, and checking the work of other Applications Analysts. The position assists in planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of the section, and may work with client management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes, as well as in application design, testing, and implementation across diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies, and tools. The role coordinates section activities with other IT sections and acts as an expert technical resource to development staff in all phases of the development and implementation process. This position assists in all levels of supervision and may perform management functions in the absence of the Manager. The individual may also act as a project leader and performs related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Five years of solid, diverse work experience in IT
