UI/UX Full-Stack Developer

Perry Homes•Houston, TX

About The Position

The UI/UX Full-Stack Developer brings a designer’s eye and full-stack range to Perry Homes’ customer-facing digital properties. The role builds and runs perryhomes.com on Contentstack and Next.js, with Marketing as the primary customer and the goal of a fast, accessible site that Marketing can mostly manage independently. The developer also partners with Customer Experience on MyAccount, the customer portal, and owns the Figma-based design system that keeps customer-facing properties consistent. The primary focus is Next.js, React, and TypeScript with Contentstack as the headless CMS. Future work extends to Angular with .NET (C#/ASP.NET Core) Web APIs for internal and custom applications. The team works in two-week sprints in Azure DevOps, supports business-owned UAT, integrates with Salesforce and Dynamics 365, and uses AI-assisted development in everyday work. The software serves homebuyers and internal teams directly rather than being built for sale. The role owns measurable performance, technical SEO, and accessibility outcomes for releases; supports production properties; and collaborates with Marketing and Customer Experience stakeholders to turn ideas into approved, production-ready experiences.

  • At least 5 years of professional front-end or web development experience, with a strong focus on UI work.

  • Strong production experience with Next.js, React, and TypeScript, including routing, rendering strategies, and data fetching.
  • At least 2 years of experience with a headless CMS; Contentstack preferred, with Contentful, Sanity, or Sitecore XM Cloud accepted.
  • Experience building logged-in user experiences, including sessions, SSO or OAuth, and protected routes.
  • Strong Figma skills, including building and maintaining a design system and translating it into reusable components.
  • Proven results in performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility, with solid responsive design experience.

  • Build and support Angular applications backed by .NET (C#/ASP.NET Core) Web APIs, helping establish patterns for custom applications.
  • Own measurable results for performance, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility for every release.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools daily to prototype, write, test, and document code.
  • Deliver work in two-week Azure DevOps sprints by estimating work, writing clear pull requests, reviewing teammates’ code, and shipping through Git, CI/CD, and automated tests.
  • Support business-owned UAT by guiding stakeholders through changes and addressing feedback.
