About The Position

We're seeking an experienced contract UI/UX designer to support a product team that currently has no dedicated design or UAT owner. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on product design experience with enterprise or internal business applications — not primarily consumer or marketing work — and can operate independently with minimal day-to-day product management support.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on product design experience with enterprise or internal business applications.
• Experience operating independently with minimal day-to-day product management support.
• Proficiency in user research and discovery (stakeholder interviews, workflow shadowing, and journey mapping).
• Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready designs in Figma.
• Experience building or extending a reusable component library and design system.
• Comfort partnering directly with engineering leads and business stakeholders to define acceptance criteria.
• Ability to own user acceptance testing end to end: writing UAT scripts, coordinating and facilitating test sessions with business users, capturing and triaging defects, and driving issues to closure.

Responsibilities
