Two's Teacher - Child Care (Immediate Hire)
About The Position
Chesterbrook Academy Preschool, part of Spring Education Group’s Early Childhood Education Division, is seeking an energetic and nurturing Two's Teacher. The program supports children’s development through discovery and play, with the teacher creating a safe and engaging classroom where two-year-olds can explore, build independence, and develop essential early learning skills. The role involves designing age-appropriate activities, maintaining a consistent classroom routine, communicating with families, and collaborating with co-teachers and school leaders. The position requires meeting state licensing requirements, being at least 18 years old, holding an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, having prior experience in a licensed childcare center, and being authorized to work in the United States. The role requires frequent walking, standing, sitting, squatting, stooping, reaching, kneeling, rising from the floor, twisting, listening, reading, writing, and speaking English. It also often involves carrying, lifting, repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally pushing, pulling, or bending. Regular hearing and clear vision, with or without correction, are required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age and meet state licensing requirements.
- Must have an associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
- A passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills each day.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
