Twisting/Winding Operator-Night Shift
About The Position
This position is responsible for the continuous operation of twisters by changing bobbins and replenishing raw material supply. The operator will also reprogram twisters for different materials, perform first-piece inspections, and transfer full bobbins to the winding area. Additionally, they will set up the winder with the correct recipe, perform winding operations, accurately weigh and segregate materials, and transport finished yarns to inventory control. The role also involves assisting with warping operations, accurately entering job-specific information into the computer system, and adhering to all safety rules while maintaining an organized work environment. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness.
Requirements
- Proficient in using all applicable measuring devices.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong team player.
- Attention to detail.
- Able to read, write and fluently communicate in English.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Responsibilities
