About The Position

Direct Mail Solutions (DMS) is a full-service mail and fulfillment company located in Richmond, Virginia. We specialize in warehousing, logistics, direct mail processing, and high-volume distribution. We are currently hiring a skilled Warehouse Turret Truck Operator to join our fast-paced and growing Warehouse Department. As a Warehouse Turret Truck Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment, with a focus on high-reach forklift (Turret Truck) tasks in our high-rise storage system. Your role will include storing, retrieving, staging, and transferring palletized goods while maintaining accuracy and organization throughout the warehouse.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience operating a Turret Truck or high-reach forklift.
Pass an internal forklift training program.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse systems.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Frequent bending, twisting, and pulling.
Must be flexible with work hours and overtime as needed.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
Able to perform physically active tasks throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

Certification is a plus.
Forklift certification and OSHA certification.
Prior experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, and general warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Operating a Turret Truck or High Reach Forklift to store and retrieve palletized units in high-rack locations.
Picking and staging products for outbound shipments.
Transferring materials within the warehouse as needed.
Using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to scan and process inventory and orders.
Assisting with general warehouse duties such as loading/unloading trucks, wrapping pallets, and keeping workspaces clean and organized.
Working overtime or assisting in other departments to support team success.
