About The Position

Burrow Global is hiring three Turnaround Planners for an upcoming turnaround (TAR) event at a chemical plant in Memphis, Tennessee. Two positions are for Mechanical Planners and one is for an Electrical & Instrumentation Planner. The work is scheduled to start in November 2026 and continue through November 2027. As a member of the TAR Management Team, the planner is responsible for planning assigned turnaround work using MS Excel and Primavera P6. The role supports preparation and execution of turnaround plans in a manner that meets the site's turnaround objectives. The schedule is 40 hours per week on a 9/80 or 5/8 schedule before the turnaround, and 7/12 schedules during the turnaround.

Requirements

At least 7 years of experience as a TAR planner working on Petrochemical or Oil and Gas EPC projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare job plans for assigned work, including materials requests and contractor instructions.
Attach relevant documentation to job plans, including drawings, photos, test procedures, and cleaning procedures.
Validate job plans as part of the validation team.
Prepare workbooks for supervisors in the assigned area, including copies of required paperwork.
Work with foremen to assist with work familiarization.
Work with schedulers, estimators, and area planners to develop the turnaround project's framework and schedule.
Attend daily meetings during execution to understand new work for the assigned area.
Ensure work is planned and passed to the scheduler for inclusion in the schedule.
Monitor material availability to support work management.
Work with foremen to identify changes needed to regular job plans and make changes for future reuse.
Ensure seamless handoff of work from trades to QA/QC and then to Operations.
Review, with the foreman, whether plant work is being performed in accordance with job plans.
Ensure job packs are properly closed out.
