About The Position

LTC is seeking contract Turkish interpreters in Dallas, Texas. The interpreter will accept appointments on an as-needed basis and provide virtual and on-site, in-person interpretation. The role involves serving as a liaison using the client’s preferred language and interpreting accurately according to the setting and audience. Interpreters must comply with applicable state, local, and federal privacy and confidentiality laws and regulations, including HIPAA. This is an independent contractor role; the interpreter is not an LTC employee and provides services on an IRS Form 1099 basis.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Turkish.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of interpreting experience.
• Ability to keep accurate records.

Nice To Haves

• Interpreting certifications.
• Three years of interpreting experience.
• Experience in a variety of medical settings, social work, education, and workplace settings, among others.

Responsibilities
