About The Position
Tupelo Honey, a part of Gray Media, is offering a unique internship opportunity for students passionate about broadcast engineering. This internship provides hands-on experience by working on live sports productions and learning about the setup, testing, maintenance, and deployment of broadcast trucks. Interns will gain valuable experience in the sports media industry by working alongside professionals.
Requirements
- Junior Class Standing (College/University) or higher.
- Passion for and experience in mobile production engineering.
- Strong verbal, visual, and written communication.
- Local and/or reliable transportation to the Indianapolis office.
- Ability to contribute (2) office days per week, and flexibility to work nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day assistance with the planning of events and productions (equipment checks, loading/cleaning trucks, inspecting equipment).
- Work on local Indianapolis events, which include live broadcasts and video board operations.
- Possibility to travel to NCAA Championships.
