About The Position

UG2’s paid Summer Internship program offers students the opportunity to gain real-world experience at one of UG2's client sites, located at RTP in NC. UG2 provides facility services to a diverse and ever-expanding portfolio of facilities including commercial, higher education, and life sciences. The Intern will work closely with the Senior Director of Technical Services and other managerial members of the facility services team on a daily basis, garnering experience out in the field at client sites. The Intern will be responsible for various technical and project-oriented work that will support the day-to-day operations of the mechanical services team. Additionally, the Intern will likely gain experience in transitioning new accounts from a facilities/engineering/maintenance perspective. Project work will be related to Facility Maintenance. This individual will gain exposure to preventative and corrective maintenance programs, work order systems, process improvement, client relations, and facilities account management.
