About The Position
The Tunnel Helper is responsible for maintaining plant safety rules and guidelines, ensuring they are followed by themselves and all employees in the area. This role requires effective collaboration with other departments and adherence to GMP practices within the work area. The position involves working in a -20 degree environment and operating a high-pressure hose for cleanup during and at the end of shifts. The role also includes performing other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Familiarity with plant safety rules and guidelines.
- Ability to work effectively with other departments.
- Responsibility for GMP practices in work area.
- Ability to work in a -20 degree environment.
- Ability to operate a high-pressure hose.
- Ability to bend, lift, twist, squat, and work in cold temperatures (could reach -20 degrees).
- Can work 12 hours per day, 7 days per week.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in a Fresh Pack environment is preferred.
