About The Position

I&M Machine and Fabrication Corp is seeking a Tube Laser Operator. The company is a local, family-owned business that has served customers since 1974, offering services including custom metal fabrication, precision machining, and industrial metal finishing. Its facilities include sheet and tube lasers, CNC machining centers, powder coating lines, and other equipment.

The operator reads process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining requirements; sets up and operates the machine according to operating requirements; and performs routine maintenance. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Previous factory experience.
• Basic blueprint-reading skills.
• Strong math skills, preferably including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Read process sheets.
• Interpret blueprints and sketches to determine machining requirements.
• Set up the machine and follow operating requirements.
• Perform routine machine maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
