About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Laser Operator to join a manufacturing team in Anderson, SC. This position is responsible for operating laser cutting equipment to produce accurate, high-quality metal parts according to production specifications. The ideal candidate has experience operating CNC laser machinery, working with sheet metal, and interpreting blueprints or technical drawings. Candidates with a strong manufacturing background and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment preferred.
Experience in metal fabrication, sheet metal manufacturing, or CNC machine operation is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings preferred.
Basic understanding of measurements, dimensions, and quality inspection.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate parts.
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to learn new processes

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment to produce sheet metal components.
Load materials and monitor machine operations throughout production runs.
Review blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure parts meet specifications.
Verify cut dimensions and inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain production quality.
Identify equipment issues, cutting defects, or material discrepancies and report them appropriately.
Follow production schedules and maintain consistent workflow.
Keep the machine and work area clean, organized, and safe.
Follow established safety procedures when handling sheet metal and operating machinery.
Work with production team members to meet quality and output goals.
