About The Position

This position is responsible for performing all tube bending operations in the CNC tube fabrication cell according to product specifications. The role requires a thorough understanding of CNC tube bending machines, programming, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, good judgment, and a focus on operational excellence.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience operating CNC tube bending machines
• Thorough knowledge of tube bending concepts
• Experience in programming a CNC tube bender
• Ability to read prints, understand tube data inputs & coordinates
• Knowledge of material characteristics and flow
• Flexible, energetic, forward-thinking, and creative with high moral and ethical standards
• High analytical ability, good judgment, and strong operational focus
• Well organized and self-directed

Responsibilities

• Perform all tube bending operations in the CNC tube fabrication cell according to specifications.
• Establish and maintain credibility throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions.
• Present and maintain positive morale amongst employees.
• Set up all bending tools and program bends.
• Operate a CMM, interpret data and feed them into bender control.
• Maintain and use fixtures.
• Visualize and troubleshoot problems associated with tube bending, including bend quality, surface quality, and tooling.
• Observe and inspect parts to ensure specifications are met.
