This is a 2nd shift Tube Laser Operator position. The ideal candidate must be able to think quickly, make decisions, and possess strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills. The role involves performing setups and operations on laser machines, checking material thickness and parts against blueprints, and identifying/solving machine alignment and cut condition problems. The operator will also troubleshoot minor program errors, account for work completed via a computer data collection system, and safely operate a forklift. Routine decision-making and problem-solving for basic manufacturing issues are expected, along with reporting and documenting material, production, and quality control issues. Participation in equipment preventative maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety standards are also key responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.
