About The Position

The CNC Tube Fabricator at The Toro Company is responsible for adjusting and operating CNC machines within the CNC tube fabrication cell, which may include lasers and tube benders. This role involves running CNC tube bending equipment, properly utilizing material handling equipment, and operating auxiliary machines as assigned. The fabricator is responsible for their own setups, inspecting parts produced to ensure they meet print and process specifications, and adhering to all safety rules. Additionally, the role includes performing operator preventive maintenance, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining good housekeeping in the work area, and completing all required paperwork and record keeping. Responsibilities may evolve based on company needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in using a variety of Windows software on a computer, must be able to demonstrate this ability.
Core skills training in basic shop math, measuring tools and blueprint reading or demonstrated equivalent knowledge is required.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience in tube fabrication/bending preferred.
Experience or demonstrated abilities in basic machining, laser cutting, and CNC turning.

Responsibilities

Run CNC tube bending equipment.
