About The Position

Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Trust Specialist to join their Corporate Trust Operations group in their downtown Salt Lake City office. This role offers the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of the corporate trust industry, focusing on supporting Municipal Bonds and acting as the transfer agent for Stock issues. It provides hands-on training in specialized banking operations, close collaboration with experienced administrators, and a strong foundation for career advancement within Zions Bancorporation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or Equivalent and some banking, trust or office related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.
  • Basic knowledge of banking, trust operations or general office processes and functions.
  • General knowledge of trust products.
  • Good customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work with both internal and external clients.
  • Must be accurate with good attention to detail.
  • Strong data entry, research and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Provides a variety of administrative and staff support services to an organizational unit.
  • Conducts data entry functions, verifies and performs quality checks on data to ensure they match.
  • Preparation of control activities, records, statistics and reports regarding operations.
  • Assists clients with stock transfer requests and processes dividend payment.
  • Works with bankers, brokers and their systems as required.
  • Administers programs, projects and/or processes specific to trust operating functions.
