About The Position

Join Cascade Manufacturing Company as a full-time, 1st shift Truss Assembler at our manufacturing plant in East Dublin, GA. This on-site position offers competitive pay starting at $17.50 per hour and the chance to learn or enhance construction skills. Cascade Mfg Co, established in 1953, is a leading manufacturer of wood and cold-formed steel trusses serving various markets nationwide. Our steel division is the nation's largest manufacturer of TrusSteel cold-formed steel trusses, and we are the premier source of prefabricated components in commercial construction. We have a wide range of experience with military, religious, healthcare, industrial, and general commercial structures, having delivered products to 44 states and 8 countries.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 of an inch
Experience in carpentry, framing, and/or manufacturing
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Positive attitude and desire to work in a team-oriented environment
Reliable and consistent attendance
Pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check required

Responsibilities

Assemble light gauge steel trusses
Stage precut material and screws for assembly
Set up jig and position precut material by hand for precise placement
Connect all joints by sinking screws with a handheld screw gun and/or screw gantry
May label, band, and stand finished trusses upright
May operate a band saw to cut material to specifications
May catch, stack, and label cut material
