The Trucking Business Development Consultant (BDC) is a sales role focused on generating and closing new commercial insurance business within the trucking industry. This role works with mid-market trucking companies (approximately 50–400 units) and sells Property & Casualty insurance solutions, with opportunities to introduce employee benefits over time. This is a base plus commission position designed for motivated sales professionals who want to build a career in commercial insurance, develop consultative selling skills, and take ownership of their results. You’ll receive support, structure, and exposure to experienced transportation leaders while being responsible for driving new business through consistent prospecting and follow-up.
